First off I would like to apologize on my laziness on finishing this post and lack of blogging in general. I'm a terrible procrastinator and I tend to never get anything done. So, I never uploaded the photos for the last blog that I did, then when I finally decided that the TIME WAS NOW, I found that I couldn't find the photos (that's fun to say, 'I found that I couldn't find the photos, I found that I couldn't find the photos, I found that I couldn't find the photos). This is probably due to the fact that I am a bit of an air head and spilled my coffee all over my bag where my laptop was. Luckily, there were Tech Medics around to perform procedures. After a MedEvac to the hospital (dorms) and little tinkering, it regained life...or so I thought. Turns out my computer is highly allergic to having coffee dumped on its hard wiring and could break out in Blue Screen of Death. Anyway, I think that, along with losing a camera, I have lost some of my photos. I'm going to work on recovering them but for now, they will remain lost. Anyway, pardon the monologue (only, isn't that what a blog is?), and accept my apology!
Okay, second, I'd like to tell you about my day, if you don't mind! =]

TRANSITION! |
Today I woke up and felt great. My first class, Intro to Fiction Writing, went by without a hitch. I find that to be a great accomplishment, seeing as I show up to that class sleepy, emotionally distraught, stressed, or any other sort of altered mind state that could put learning things seriously in peril. Then it was lunch with a good ASL friend. It was when my friend Babs came around that my day really got exciting!
Babs and I have a great thing going and, working together, we busted out so much homework! The procrastination poltergeist is gone! Then it was my film study class (
Lemon Tree!!!), ASL club, then Trivia Night at a pub with some friends. Unfortunately Trivia Night went bust when we found out that, because we are minors, we would get kicked out before the game ended. All was quite well because we found ourselves quite at home in The Black Sheep where we ordered drinks and played Bananagrams.
Probably one of the top most highlights of my day was an endeavor with my little brother, Leif. He needed some help smooth talking a girl so I sent him a classic: You're the very best, like no one ever was. My bud Sophie called upon her little brother for help and he contributed some gnarly one liners. It was like a giant machine of big sister-little brother AWESOMENESS. This night became legen-wait for it-dary!
Currently, I am just sitting on the floor of my room being productive (!) with Big Totoro cuddled close listening to the
Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind theme on repeat (which you can do
here). I've got Babs hanging out with me, for both of us have a bad case of Writer's Diarrhea (I'm am SO sorry for that).
In conclusion, I would like to nerd out for a moment and say that my day was almost as if I had felix felicis (Felix) this morning. For those amoung us who are not Potter Heads, Felix Felicis is a potion from the
Harry Potter series that, when consumed, gave the witch or wizard drinking it immensely good luck. I know that might sound like an odd comparison, but today was like sunshine on a cloudy day.
Okay, I know this blog post probably wasn't the most thrilling or most exciting read you've ever suffered through, but I just wanted to share the wonderful day that I have. I don't know, I guess that I've just been feeling extremely blessed lately and I want to share my happiness! I just think it's nice to kick back a minute, let that warm feeling bubble up in your inside, and just say, "I got it good. I got it real good."
Sorry for the lack of photos in this and immense amounts of narcissism in this post. I'm still figuring out the whole photo fiasco. In the mean time, here is a picture of a spoonful of Captain Crunch that looks like an angel! Can you see him?
Tootles!
